Hi, I’m Martin

And I love helping people turn ordinary houses and kitchens into spaces that are both beautiful and genuinely practical for everyday living.

Drawing on over thirty years of hands-on experience in re-modelling, extending and renovating homes, both for clients and my own family, I can help you create a home that feels right, works beautifully, and is a real joy to live in.

I am truly independent and offer 'design only' and 'design and supply' services, tailored to your exact needs.

Much as I’d love to help everyone, I know my approach won’t suit every project - and that’s okay.

What I do works best for homeowners who value thoughtful design, clear communication and practical solutions.
Here are a few reasons why I might not be the right designer for you:

Planning Permission

This isn’t my area of expertise, so I don’t offer this service.
Architects are great at securing planning permission for extensions - but from my experience, most don’t focus on how your new space integrates with your existing home.
That’s where I come in.

Contact & Communication

I’m not 24/7 - and there are no chatbots here.
I work Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. If you can’t reach me, just leave a message - I’ll usually get back to you the same day.
Good communication matters to me, and I pride myself on keeping clients informed from start to finish.

Sales & Discounts

I don’t do “sales.”
When I quote for a kitchen, that’s the genuine price - fair, transparent and consistent.
If you’re chasing huge discounts, you’ll find them at the big national chains - but you may be surprised how their “final price” compares to mine.

Fitting & Installation

I don’t personally fit kitchens any more
My designs and kitchens go all over the UK (and occasionally abroad), and most of my clients use their own trusted builder or fitter.
I’m always happy to liaise directly with them to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Interior Design

Mood boards and fluffy cushions? That’s not me.
But if you’re in the Cotswolds, Bristol or Bath areas, I work with a brilliant interior designer. (Let me put you in touch)
Together, we can take you from a complete home re-model and new kitchen through to full interior styling.

If I supply your kitchen, I work with my trusted kitchen supplier to build every unit to fit your kitchen perfectly whether its a standard size or something more bespoke.
