Contemporary Kitchens

Contemporary kitchens take the best of traditional styling and give it a modern, streamlined twist.

A painted Shaker cabinet can feel instantly up-to-date with simple modern handles and engineered Quartz worktops, upstands, and splash backs. If you prefer a cleaner look, our Shaker doors can also be made in painted MDF for a smooth, modern finish instead of a visible wood grain.

Even with a contemporary design, the finishing touches matter. Simple cornice and pelmet profiles can be added to keep everything neat and balanced, without the decorative detail you’d typically see in a traditional kitchen.

Contemporary design is all about clean lines, minimal fuss, and a light, open feel. Dark cabinetry paired with crisp white worktops and black or gunmetal appliances creates a striking modern look that still feels timeless in the right home.
